I am planning to do MSc(Anatomy) course in AIIMS Delhi. I would like to know about the syllabus of this course. Can anyone of you kindly let me know about the syllabus of this particular course of this institute?

Course syllabus of M.Sc(Anatomy) in AIIMS Delhi are as follows:-

Gross Anatomy
Histology and Hitochemistry
Genetics
Developmental Anatomy
Neuroanatomy
Physiology
Systemic Pharmacology
Biophysics
Dissertation

MSc in Anatomy at AIIMS Delhi is a 2 year duration course. This course gives the opportunity to learn the anatomy of the human body by dissection, a comprehensive knowledge of normal anatomy, safely handle the body from its arrival to its final disposal, effective teaching and assessment methods in anatomy. The detailed syllabus is given below.

Theory

Gross Anatomy with evolution and Comparative Anatomy.
Microscopic Anatomy, Development Anatomy and Genetics.
Neuroanatomy including development and microscopic structure.

Practical

Histological Techniques, Identification Light and Electron Microscopic Structure of Tissues of the Body.
Slides, Specimens of development anatomy, genetics, neuroanatomy to assess comprehensive knowledge in these areas.
Viva-voce on gross anatomy, living anatomy, sectional anatomy and neuroanatomy, developmental anatomy and genetics.
