The minimum education required for appearing in the SSC CGL (Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduation Level) examination is a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Yes, you can appear in the SSC CGL examination to become an Income Tax Officer even having completed Graduation on the second attempt as marks in the graduation degree or the number of attempts taken to qualifying the same degree does not matter as far as the eligibility for appearing in the same examination is concerned. The eligibility to appear for CGL exam , candidates must have a graduation degree from a recognised university .
The age limit should be 18 year and 32 years . The starting salary ranges is Rs 30,587. |

Yes, you can become a Income Tax Officer .
Candidates whi have done graduate degree from a recognised university can appear for CGL exam. Age limit should be 18 years and Maximum 32 years. |

Yes, you can become an Income Tax Officer (ITO) if you are a graduate and have qualified the SSC CGL exam.
The SSC CGL exam is a national-level exam. The eligibility criteria for the SSC CGL exam are as follows: Age limit:- You must be between 18 and 30 years of age on the first day of the examination. Education:- You must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Nationality:- You must be a citizen of India. Physical fitness:- You must be physically fit to perform the duties of an ITO. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for the SSC CGL exam. The exam is conducted in three stages: * Tier I: This is a computer-based test (CBT) that consists of 100 questions of general awareness, quantitative aptitude, reasoning, and English language. * Tier II: This is a CBT that consists of 200 questions of general studies and aptitude. * Tier III: This is a descriptive test that consists of two essays. The candidates who qualify all the three stages of the SSC CGL exam are shortlisted for the document verification and medical examination. After clearing the document verification and medical examination, the candidates are appointed as ITOs. |

Candidates with minimum qualifying marks in graduation from a recognised university in any discipline are eligible to apply for the SSC CGL examination and after qualifying in all the stages of the examination eligible to get the recruitment in the respective department.

The basic qualifications required for appearing in the SSC CGL (Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level) examination for becoming an Income Tax Officer (Inspector) are as below:
* You must be an Indian citizen. * Your age must lie between 18 years to 30 years if you belong to the unreserved category. Further, there is the provision of upper age limit relaxation for candidates belonging to reserved categories. * You must have completed your bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. So, you can definitely appear in the SSC CGL examination even having completed your graduation degree in the second attempt to become an Income Tax Officer (inspector) through SSC CGL as the attempts taken and marks secured in the same degree do not matter as far as the educational requirement for the same post is concerned.
