Re: Eligibility to appear for CGL exam being a graduate in second attempt
Yes, you can definitely appear in the SSC CGL (Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level) examination even having completed your graduation degree in the second attempt to become an Income Tax Officer (inspector) through SSC CGL as the attempts taken and marks secured in the same degree does not matter as far as the educational requirement for the same post is concerned.
Apart from the educational qualification, you are required to be an Indian citizen with your age lying between 18 years to 30 years to be eligible for the same post. Upper age limit relaxation is allowed for reserved category candidates as per the government norms. Yes, You can after selecting ‘appearing’ in the education qualification section. But even if you qualified the exam, you’re not eligible for the post as the required qualification to be eligible is to have a graduate degree before the crucial date mentioned in the ssc cgl notification.

Re: Eligibility to appear for CGL exam being a graduate in second attempt
To determine the eligibility criteria for the CGL (Combined Graduate Level) exam, you should refer to the official notifications and guidelines provided by the concerned exam conducting authorities, such as the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). As GPTGO is an AI language model, it does not have access to real-time information or the ability to browse external websites. However, generally, the eligibility for the CGL exam is as follows:
1. Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens, subjects of Bhutan/Nepal, Tibetan refugees, or individuals of Indian origin who have migrated from certain countries. 2. Educational Qualification: A bachelor's degree from a recognized university is required for most CGL posts. 3. Age Limit: The age limits may vary for different posts within the CGL exam. Typically, candidates must be between 18 and 32 years old. 4. Attempts: The number of attempts allowed for the CGL exam varies depending on the candidate's category (general, OBC, SC/ST, etc.). The specific guidelines regarding the number of attempts can be found in the official notifications. |
