As you have doing B.Tech and M.Tech integrated in mechanical engineering and confused for choosing specialization field and there scopes among manufacturing technology and thermal engineering, then here below are details regarding scopes after both specialization field:-

hello

Both are best in salary depends on which type of industry, Position, work profile are available in market.
Both have its own Pro's & Cones , But I think as a Thermal Engineering you have widen your scope of work as you can join in Manufacturing industry as you have Bachelors degree in Mechanical but Manufacturing specialization has the limitation to stick inside the relative industry.

Also you can choose Metallurgy if you have specialization and depends on area of interest, your own thinking & understanding related to the subject.
