Is post graduation(arts) valid in distance mode from the vinayak mission university ,tamilnadu? Is it approved from the Government? What about the campus placements in the college? Is it possible to get a job once I complete the Post Graduation? Kindly give me the answer soon as possible. Thank you.

There is a big doubt on the validity of the distance education from Vinayak Mission University. This is because they have not mentioned any recognition from UGC and DEC. Moreover, AICTE has clearly stated that it has not given permission to Vinayak Mission for technical education. The letter is attached. Since you are planning to do post graduation in Arts, so you should ask for valid recognition proof from the university for distance course before enrolling in the university. You can file RTI if the university does not provide you and get the necessary info. You can get job after post graduation if you have the caliber and excel in the field of your post graduation.

Vinayaka Mission university provides valid degrees through distance education. The degrees are recognized by Distance Education Council. Stating few lines from their website :

The academic programs are approved by the
Distance Education Council, IGNOU, New Delhi,
vide, DEC/VMRF/07/255/dated 28.2.2007.

Further, Joint committee for distance education
comprising of UGC-AICTE-DEC has also accorded
recognition from 2011-12 to 2013-14 vide letter
no DEC/VMU/SLM/TN/2011/1505 Dated 20-
Apr-2011.

i have passed m.sc(app psy) from vinayak mission university . is it recognised by ugc and dec?

Sir, after going through the details of approval for VMU, why the authority is not considering as valid degree? Due to not taking the fair Decision by the authority concerned employees are in great trouble. This thing should be monitored by the government .please do the justice.

Why the govt. School authority concerned is not considering that VMU degree as valid? When VMU already received the approval / recognition from concerned department.
