Requirements to get MS(Otolaryngology) admission in PGIMER-Chandigarh:-


The candidates looking forward to get admission in pG courses in Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh must have minimum 55% marks in MBBS course from a recognized university.


The candidates are required to apply for the admission test conducted by the in Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research itself.

The application forms can be downloaded from the website http://pgimer.edu.in.

The process of application is online, your are expected to keep your signature and photograph ready to be uploaded on the Application form.

The admission procedure to study MS in Otolaryngology at PGIMER, Chandigarh is:-

==> To register as a new user, click on 'Register New User'. It will open the online application form. The university website link is www.pgimer.edu.in.

==> Fill the application form with all the required details. Upload the scanned photograph,signature and other relevant documents in JPEG format only.

==> After filling the application form, deposit the fee through the payment gateway.

==> Application fee amount is Rs.1000 for general category and for SC/ST it is Rs.800.

==> Take the printout of completed online application form.

==> Admission procedure is done on the basis of entrance examination. The entrance test is conducted in English and consists of 100 multiple choice questions with negative marking of 1/4 for every wrong answer.

=> M.S. Otolaryngology or Master of Surgery in Otolaryngology is a postgraduate Surgery course.

=> In order to get admission in this course, the candidate should have passed MBBS course from a recognized university.

=> The minimum percentage required in the MBBS course to study Master of Surgery in Otolaryngology course is 50%.

=> The final selection of the candidate will be done on the basis of merit list and personal interview.

Requirements to get MS(Otolaryngology) admission in PGIMER-Chandigarh:-

Candidates seeking admission to MS through PGIMER-CHANDIGARH must complete their MBBS degree from a medical council of India recognised University/Institute.

Candidates must possess a permanent/provisional registration certificate from the medical council of India.
