If I complete my Mtech in electrical and electronic engineering, what amount I would be paid per month in India or anywhere else?

As far as the current norms, GATE-qualified students are paid a teaching assistantship of Rs. 12,400/- per month during their M.Tech degree course for a maximum period of 24 months. HTTA (Half-Time Teaching Assistantship) students are required to assist the department with 8 hours of work per week related to academic activities of the department such as laboratory demonstration, tutorials, evaluation of assignments, test papers, seminars, research projects, etc..

In the case of CFTIs like IITs, NITs, etc. this assistantship is paid by MHRD while for other engineering colleges it is paid by AICTE.

Also, in the case of a few colleges, the stipend amount varies as per the college policy.
