Scholarships available to study MTech(Civil Engineering) in Dehradun Institute of Technology?


Hello everyone, I want to do MTech(Civil Engineering) with the help of scholarship in Dehradun Institute of Technology. So, I would like to know about the scholarships which are available for this course in this college. Thank you!

Yes, Scholarships are available to study MTech in Civil Engineering at Dehradun Institute of Technology. There are four types of scholarships available and below are the details.

1. Merit Based Scholarship Policy

A) The candidate with a score of 80% or above marks in graduation or equivalent are eligible for the 30% scholarship.
B) The candidate with a score of 75% to 80% marks in graduation or equivalent are eligible for the 20% scholarship.
C) The candidate with a score of 70% to 75% or above marks in graduation or equivalent are eligible for the 10% scholarship.

2. Uttarakhand State Scholarship Policy

The candidates who are resident of Uttarakhand are eligible for this scholarship and 26% scholarship is granted for tuition and development fee. To claim for this scholarship a candidate need to show a valid Domicile Certificate at the time of counseling/admission.

3. Scholarship for Defence Personnel

A candidate will get a 5% scholarship of tuition fee in the 1st year of the course. To claim for this scholarship a candidate need to show a valid Certificate/ Document of their parents at the time of counseling/admission.

4. Additional Scholarships for New Admission

A) This is applicable for the siblings of present students and will get scholarship of 5% of tuition fees for 1st year. To claim a candidate need to show a University ID Card and Aadhaar and the Copy of the Degree Certificate issued to the sibling by DIT University.

B) This is applicable for the student graduating or graduated from DIT University and opting for a higher course at DIT University. The candidate will get 10% of tuition fees for 1st year. To claim a candidate need to show a University ID Card and Aadhaar and the Copy of the Provisional Certificate in the same year.
