Syllabus and study materials to prepare for CLAT(LLM)?


Respected Sir,
I want to prepare for CLAT for LLM. Kindly provide me the study materials for the same. And also let me know the syllabus. Thank you in advance.

Syllabus required to prepare for CLAT (LLM) Examination:

CLAT LLM Examination basically consists of the English including Comprehension, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Mathematics, Legal Aptitude, Logical Reasoning. English consists of English Vocabulary, English Proficiency, English Usage Erros, English Comprehension, Arithmetic, Commercial Maths, Mensuration, Reasoning Tests, Logic Tests. CLAT LLM topics consists of Criminal Law, Law of Torts, Law of Contracts, Family Law, Constitutional Law and Legal Theory.

Best Books required to prepare for CLAT (LLM) Exam:

>> The Pearson Guide to the CLAT (English) 1st Edition

>> Objective General English 1st Edition by R.S.Agarwal

>> Lucents General Knowledge 4th Edition

>> Quantitative Aptitude by R.S.Agarwal

>> A Modern Approach to Logical Reasoning by R.S.Agarwal

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), is an all India entrance examination, conducted on rotation by 17 National Law Universities (NLUs) for LLM course.

Syllabus and study materials to prepare for CLAT(LLM)

>>Logical reasoning
>>Verbal and Non verbal reasoning
>>Quantitative Aptitude
>>English knowledge
>>General Knowledge
>>General awareness
>>Current affairs
>>Indian Law

You will be given 2 hours duration to solve 200 multiple choice questions. You will be given -0.25 mark for every wrong answers.You will be given 1 mark for every correct answers.

You can refer to books by author R.S.Agarwal for your preparation .
