Hello everyone, I am interested to appear in IPMAT of 2019. But I don’t know about the pattern of IPMAT. I would like to know about the pattern of this entrance exam so that I can get admission in MBA course. Waiting for your response!

IPMAT pattern 2019:

Quantitative Ability- Number of questions will be 40.

Verbal Ability- Number of questions will be 40.

Quantitative Ability SA- Number of questions will be 20.

Pattern of IPMAT 2019:-

The entrance exam will be conducted in online mode that is a computer-based.

Applications need to appear objective type multiple choice questions and short answers in the entrance exam.

Duration to solve the entire paper of the entrance exam will be not more than 2 hours.

100 questions of 400 marks will be asked in the entrance exam.

The correct response in the entrance exam will gain 4 marks

Incorrect answers will deduct one mark in total

Below maintain are the subjects on which the question paper will be based:-

Quantitative ability( 40 questions - MCQ)

Verbal ability ( 40 questions - MCQ)

Quantitative ability (20 questions - SA).

IPAMT 2019 Exam pattern:
The mode of IPMAT exam will be CBT which is called computer based test and contains total 100 questions. The applicants will have to finish the whole paper in 120 minutes or tow hours.

> Quantitative ability where MCQs or multiple choice types questions are there.

> Quantitative ability where SA or short answer type questions are there.

> Verbal ability where the questions will be of multiple choice.

Exam Pattern of IPMAT 2019:

Quantitative Aptitude will include 40 questions.

Verbal ability will include 40 questions.

Quantitative aptitude with short answers includes 20 question.


Each question carries 4 marks which means every correct answer will get 4 marks. The exam has negative marking as well. Every wrong answer will have a deduction of one mark. Negative marking will not be applicable for question answer where in the candidates have to type the answer instead of choosing an answer from the options given.
