Is working experience required to study MPH(Epidemiology and Health System) in National Institute of Epidemiology?


Dear friends, I have heard about the admission of MPH(Epidemiology and Health System) admission in National Institute of Epidemiology. I have also heard that working experience requires for securing admission. Is it true?

Yes, working experience is required to study MPH(Epidemiology and Health System) in National Institute of Epidemiology. Candidates must have minimum two years of working experience on full-time basis in public health, preferably in State/Central Government Department or in Medical institutions, sponsored on deputation. Also candidates must have minimum 3 years experience in public health related activities.
Candidates must hold a M.B.B.S. degree recognized by Medical Council of India to be eligible to study MPH(Epidemiology and Health System) in National Institute of Epidemiology.
