I have scored 73% in 10th,65% in 12th and 5.995 CGPA till 6th sem. So, can I appear in placement drive.? Am I eligible for it or not? Can someone please provide me the right information in this as soon as possible? Awaiting for a quicker reply from someone here. Thank you.

10th and 12th marks are fine. But your graduation marks is not good. If you have secured less than 65% marks or below 60% marks definitely you have a problem in campus placements. You cannot allow to sit the placement drives. They won't consider 5.995 CCPA as round off 6.0 CGPA. If you maintain the same CGPA up to your 7 and 8 semester definitely you cannot allow to for the placement drives. So be carefully try to improve your CGPA in coming 7th and 8th semester. Being this percentage, definitely you are not eligible to apply for the placement drives.

No, if you have secured less CGPA till 6th Semester it would be really difficult for you to attend campus placements. As you have secured 73% in 10th Class, 65% in 12th Class; I suggest you to score good percentage in 7th and 8th Semesters. Generally recruiting companies visit campus in 7th Semester or 8th Semester and the minimum percentage is counted till 7th semester. So if you can score good percentage in 7th semester, your aggregate may get increased and then may be eligible for campus placements recruitment process. But with the present mentioned above percentage you are not eligible to attend campus placements. Apart from this, try to get good command over programming languages namely, Oracle, C, C++, Java, .NET, PHP, HTML, Language skills and communication skills.

As per marks criteria, you are not eligible for campus recruitment in Software companies.

Required percentage of marks throughout the studies for campus recruitment is,

Software companies= 65%

Candidates having more than two years gap throughout the studies are not eligible for Software companie recruitment.
