sir how many company i am elligible to apply. my academic detail is 55.67% in 10th 72.62% in 12th and 63.01% b.tech till 6th sem.

What exactly should do to get into DROD.

Maximum of the companies need overall 60% in 10th, 12th and B.TECH, but some companies like virtuza, polaris, cap gemini and all the psu's dont need 60% during online placement.

Your 10th and 12th marks don't matter much. most of the B.Tech recruiters set their company's eligibility on ur B.tech marks. Generally it is 60%. So Don't fear just study well to mantain ur grades. Start building ur general knowledge and communication skills, as these will help you a lot at the time of interview, GD, and aptitude test. But be cautious some companies can have a higher eligibility percentage. Even some companies consider only top 10 or top 5 for interview.

But at the end ur social skills are something which matter a lot and will help u in getting a better package.....

To Appear In Capmus Placements, You have to scored atleast 60% Marks in Your Whole Courses. And if you do not Maintain 60% Marks Since from 10th Class Onwards, Then you are not Eligible to apply for Manny Companies Like Infosys, Wipro.

But the Eligiblity Creteria was Vary from Companies To Companies. Manny Companies required only current Marks. So, if you have scored Minimum 60% Marks in Your appearing Course, Then You are eligible to apply for Manny Companies.

But Most Of The Companies Required 60% Marks In your whole Academics.

So, to Mentain 60% Marks since from 10th is Mondatery, To apply for Campus Placements.

for a on campus placement, you need a 60% marks from your 10th level exam.
Most corporate companies follows this. But you can go for a government job. And dont so panic there are also several companies to which you can apply.

if you want to appear in bigger companies its very sad because you don't have the general eligibility criteria for most companies i.e 60% throughout. however you have not mentioned your branch. the criteria for sitting in core companies is not as high as those of software firms
so all the best

don,t take tenshion about pklacement on ur late performance in 10th or 12th m currently if u are good than u can try for psu and also u have a option like gate,ies,ias,cat,gre etc.many compnies have only requirment of ur current performance.

FOR APPLYING many companies you have to pass your 10th , 12th and B.Tech with at least 60%

in this case , you have 55.67 % in 10th so you are not eligible for many mnc like TCS , INfosys , wiptro ..

but criteria for Tech. mahindra (satyam) , kothari etc. is 60 % in only 12th and B.Tech..

so you can apply for this kind of companies...

But Most Of The Companies Required 60% Marks In your whole Academics.
So, to Maintain 60% Marks since from 10th is Mandatory, To apply for Campus Placements..!!

you are B.Tech student you know the importance of marks .today every company require min. 60% marks in 10th,12th and graduation such as TCS and Infosys. minimum criteria of marks for any company is 60%.
some company are also which require less than 60%.you can join company with these marks.

60% is essential but not for all companies so don't worry there are still a lot of companies who allow candidates below 60% ...but infosys does not allow...

sir i got 73%marks in10th & 59%marks in12th & 66% in bachlore of engineering (BE) till the 6th sem?

10 and 12 marks matters a lot to IT companies i have 77% marks in b.tech but due to 58% in 12 i'am still looking for a job..

Am sorry, you wont be able to attend most of the top MNC companies interviews because they have their eligibility criteria as 60 % and above in 10th, 12th and B.E/B.Tech, but you dont have to worry there are many small companies which provide jobs based on your performance and not with marks.. just try to join those companies gain some experience and then jump into the big MNC's

Because you have secured less than 60% in 10th you will not be eligible to sit for companies like TCS and INFOSYS.

The best suited companies for you will be MINDTREE, WIPRO, ACCENTURE, DISCOVURTURE.
These companies conduct on and off campus drives throughout India.

So be in touch with your placement office and be update through websites like

As your 10th marks is little low you have to struggle a little, but don't worry you can sit for many companies,whose criterion is 55%,don't worry lots of companies are there , Satyam requires 55%.

Don't worry at all, there are so many companies in which you are eligible.
For mass recruiters like infosys, wipro, TCS and CSC you are not eligible but many companies such as Syntel, Polaris, DLF, Capegemine and Essel group, you are eligible.

Dear friend,

Maximum software company want 60 % in through out .some campany want 65 through out .so the percentage is vary from company to company .

Few software company set their criteria is just above 50%.

Your 10 th standard marks is not above 60%. So you are not eligible for maximum software company.

So the eligible company are WIPRO , SYNTEL ,RS SOFT , HONEYWELL , ALUMNUS etc.

Also you have option for higher study . But you must be qualify in GATE , CAT ,MAT exam.

The higher study options are MBA ,M-TECH,MS,JRF,SRF,PHD etc.

Most of the privet reputed companies requires at least 60% throughout the academic carrier .So it is really tough to suggest you privet sectors ,as you have 55.67% in 10th .
So I will suggest you to go for the Govt. sectors .Because those requires minimum 60% in graduation .

I'm sorry to tell you that you can not appear for big companies like TCS,CTS,WIPRO,IBM,INFOSYS as your 10th standard marks is below 60%.
Normally they wants 60% throughout academic career.

But you can apply for this companies :

1.FORADIAN technology
2.MINDFIRE solutions
3.ABC group of industry
4.SATYAM
5.ARJUN group of industries.
