No, as per the regulations of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), all healthcare professionals including dentists who want to practice in Dubai need to appear for the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) examination and obtain a license to practice. This applies to both UAE nationals and foreign nationals. Therefore, as a BDS doctor, you would need to appear for the DHA exam and obtain a license to practice in Dubai.

Eligibility Criteria: In order to be eligible to appear for the DHA exam, you must meet certain criteria. You must have a BDS degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university, and you must have completed a minimum of two years of work experience after graduation.

Exam: The DHA exam is a computer-based test that assesses your knowledge and skills in dentistry. It consists of multiple-choice questions and covers topics such as dental anatomy, radiology, oral pathology, restorative dentistry, and endodontics, among others.

Licensing Process: Once you pass the DHA exam, you can apply for a dental license to practice in Dubai. You will need to provide a range of documents including your academic qualifications, work experience, and passport, among others. The application process can take several weeks or even months, and you will need to pay a fee to obtain your license.

Renewal: Your DHA license is valid for three years, after which you will need to renew it. To renew your license, you will need to demonstrate that you have completed the required continuing education units (CEUs) and that you have maintained your professional competence.

In summary, if you want to practice dentistry in Dubai as a BDS doctor, you will need to appear for the DHA exam and obtain a license. The licensing process can be lengthy and requires you to meet specific eligibility criteria and provide a range of documents. However, once you obtain your license, you can practice dentistry in Dubai and enjoy a rewarding career in the healthcare sector.
