Yeah you can get a job in a private bank after completing B.tech which is a undergraduate course of 4 years duration. There are many banks which conducts exams for various posts namely such as Bank Clerk, Probationary Officer, Specialist Officer.

You can apply for the post of probationary officer, and there are certain eligibility conditions which you would need to satisfy for applying and they are:

-> Candidate should have a citizenship in India

-> Age limit needed is 21-30 years for general category candidate and there are relaxation for other category candidates such as for SC/ST it is extra 5 years and for OBC it is 3 years.

-> The educational qualification for PO exam is, candidate should have completed a degree in any stream from a recognized university. Even final year appearing candidate can apply for the exam.

The candidate who satisfies all these criteria is eligible for applying for the Bank PO exam and the candidates are selected through:

1. Written Test
2. GD & Interview

It is nice to see that you are aiming to step forward in the path of your career goal and interest. In order to get employment in private banks, you need to appear and score well in the written test and then interview round. Most of the banks give employment through exams conducted by IBPS. Many other private banks conduct their own written test and some recruit from institutes giving professional course in banking field. So you can also join such institutes after your M.Tech course.

IBPS conduct the banks examination in India you must register through it online. IBPS is the Institute of Banking Personnel selection.Paper pattern of IBPS is-

1-Preliminary Examination.
2-Main Examination.

According to the performance of candidate in preliminary examination,only limited number of candidate are allow in the main examination.

Graduation is the basic eligibility for IBPS officer / PO exams. So you can apply for the IBPS exams. It would be consisting of creative logic, quantitative aptitude and verbal ability test. After that there would be interview phase as well.
