Respected Sir/Madam, I want to prepare for the interview of Cognizant, Bangalore for the post of Software Developer. I would like to know that how many rounds are there in the interview for this particular post in this company?

Selection process of software developer in cognizant :

Total 3 round in cognizant selection process for software developer.

>>Written online examination.

-- General quantutave aptitude

-- general reasoning both verbal and Non verbal

>>Technical interview.

Mainly deals with basic concepts of your technical knowledge

More concentration on Algorithms, oops, programming languages and operatiNg systems.

>>HR

Tests your personality and attitude .

If you are appearing for the interview, you will be undergo few rounds of interview as below:

1. Technical Interview: They will ask technical questions as per their requirements to verify your technical skill for the require profile.

2. Managerial Interview: After clearing the technical round you have to get appear for Managerial round of interview where they will ask scenario based questions to verify how you can handle any critical and complex situation.

3. HR Discussion: Once you cleared all the above rounds of interview, you will be asked for HR discussion where they will discuss about you annual package and your responsibility.

Mainly in the selection procedure of software developer there are 3 rounds of interview activities will be there:

1.Online written test that contains both quantitative, verbal and non verbal reasoning.

2.Technical interview that consist of basic concepts of oops methodology, algorithms, sql queries, syntax of languages. Means how much familiar you are with concepts of languages.

3.Operation manager round:After clearing above rounds , operation manager will check your problem solving skills and handling issues with the object ,they will assign you

4.HR manager:This is last round where HR manager will judge your personality and he or she will ask you to join our company with your job role in the company with details. And what will be your annual package with probation time.
