Job description of Physical Design Engineer in IBM India Pvt Ltd

As a Physical Design Engineer you will be responsible for high performance microprocessor blocks RTL to GDSII implementation.

You have to perform block level synthesis, floor planning, placement and routing plan.

You are responsible to close the design to meet timing, power budget.

Also you have to implement ECOs to address functional bugs and timing violations.

You should have automation skills in PERL, SKILL and/or TCL to make the design and implement to reduce the effort.
