Hi everyone, I am preparing for the interview of Capgemini Pune for the post of Support Engineer. I don’t know about the roles and responsibilities for this particular post. Can anyone of you let me know about this post?

@ You are required to meet the customer requirements through first contact resolution and need to clarify the customer requirements, and probe for and confirm the understanding of the requirements or problem.

@ As a Support Engineer, you are required to provide the best-in-class customer service, problem resolution and technical troubleshooting to the customer queries over the voice based phone services.

@ You are required to support the customers across the telecommunication, healthcare, financial services and technology vertical.

>> You should have done B.E/ B.Tech in any discipline or MCA course in this recruitment.

>> Minimum experience required is 0 to 2 years of experience.

Roles and Responsibility:

1. You have to work on installation and build of Finacle (preferably 10.1.x) non production environments using FDM.

2· You have to provide environment support and troubleshooting issues during the testing phase.

3· You have to provide support Finacle EOD/BOD

4· You are responsible for deployment of patches in the non-production environments.

5· You are responsible for daily batch support by using Unix, SQL and Autosys.

6· You are responsible to solve any query raised by users.

-You must know how to do finacle installation using FDM.
-You must know how to support and manage finacle environment.
-Knowledge of finacle Core, finacle CRM log analysis.
-Finacle Integrator set up knowing.
-Finacle EOD/BOD set up knowledge and Support.

Desired Skills :-

1. Unix
2. Oracle
3. Web sphere
4.SCM
5.Finacle customization knowledge.
6.Unix scripting knowledge.
7.Knowledge of PL/SQL
8.Knowledge of Banking Domain.

1. Provide SME support to delivery in metrics and estimation area.

2. Support BU in process implementation to achieve external certifications- CMMI/ISO/SOC etc.

3. Conduct training to delivery in Quality domain.

4. Guide delivery in Agile and Develops implementation.

5. Conduct internal audits and identify potential delivery risks.

6. Implement L4/L5 practices in the BU and develop prediction models.

7. Analyze BU metrics data using statistical techniques, create baselines
SME support to projects in the BU in SDLC methodologies and in tailoring/deviations.
