Pattern for TCS recruitment:-

Test-Section I/Arithmetic Reasoning and Analytical Thinking
25 minutes 15 questions
Test-Section II/ Mathematical critical thinking and Logical reasoning
35 minutes 10 questions
Test Section III/Test of communicative English
35 minutes 40 questions

TCS stands for Tata consultancy service.

The exam pattern for TCS is conducted in 2 stages:

1. Written examination which consists of

a. Verbal ability
b. Analytical ability

2. Interview

a. Technical
b. Managerial
c. HR

Yes, TCS placement written examination contain English section also.

Below, I have attached a model paper for TCS paper.

TCS has changed its paper pattern from the previous year. The pattern followed by TCS is given below.

- The test is of 90 minutes.
- First 10 min will be verbal ability test. In this section you will be asked to write an email on the given topic and the email should contain the words specified in the question.
- Then the rest 80 minutes will be general aptitude test wherein questions will be from quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning.
- There will be negative marks for wrong answers.
- There will be different weightage for a certain number of questions especially the last two questions.

Dear sir/madam

I completed my B.tech from ECE in 2015 with 70%. Now I am going to attend interviews.
But I have 1year academic gap between my intermediate (2008-2011) and B.Tech, because of one backlog in Intermediate final year.
Is this gap effects my career?
