It includes a brief introduction to multimedia, fonts and hypertext, audio and image (fundamentals and representations), video animation and multimedia authoring.

Paper Pattern: It consists of two parts A and B. Candidate should answer part A first and then should go to part B. First part has 4 questions which are objective type consisting of multiple choice, fill in the blanks, true or false, matching; no choice is provided, 10 marks each. Part B has 5 questions which are subjective type out of which 4 should be answered and each question carries 15 marks. The questions may be sub divided.

Time allotted and Maximum Marks: The duration allotted for the exam is 3 hours out of which Part A will be maximum one hour and after completing and submission of that, Paper B will be provided which should be answered within rest of the time. Maximum marks allotted are 100, where 40 go to part A and 60 to part B.
