Gujarat Technological University has been established with the major objective for better education in the field of engineering, Pharmacy and MBA. The Civil Engineering Department of this university has been the first choice for every student to work for the advancement of the quality of their career life. The Civil Engineering Department of Gujarat University is divided into eight semesters. The code of the Environmental Engineering paper is 150603 and it’s a 70 marks exam. The paper has 5 questions and the students have to answer every question. In some questions choices are provided and students can answer any one of them. The important topics from which a student can score a good number of marks are physical and chemical characteristics of water, pH, problems on measurement of pH, different types of sanitary fittings, water seals, sketches of S trap and Gully trap, sources of municipal solid waste, different types of microbes and its growth curves, solid wastes and its effects and also the effects of air pollution on humans and animals. Questions along with problems also came from other important topics. Short notes cover the topics like EIA, Electrostatic Precipitator, physical solution of solid waste, composting, etc. It’s a very scoring subject. If the students can cover all this important topics, then they easily can score good marks. Below are attached some of the previous year’s question papers.
