The IETE is one of the leading institutes in the country especially in the area of the computer and electronics and telecommunication engineering. So it is obvious the paper followed by the institute will be quite extensive and exhaustive. The paper is of 100 marks and tries to test all the different aspects of the subject be it the quirky multiple choice questions depicting the knowledge or the descriptive questions that test the innovative skill of the candidate taking the exam. The time allotted is about 3 hours which is just about adequate and also test the time management skill of the candidate.
