The Geophysics Paper is a 300 marks paper. The objective questions carry 30% weight age of marks while the subjective ones carry 70% weight age. All questions are compulsory. The total time for the paper is three hours. The paper has questions from three sections. The geology section has topics like The Planet Earth, Petrology, Stratigraphy, etc. The math section comprises of topics like Sequences, Series and Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus, Differential Equations, Vector Calculus, Linear Algebra, etc. The physics section has topics like Mechanics and General Properties of Matter, Oscillations, Waves and Optics, Electricity and Magnetism, Kinetic theory, Thermodynamics etc. Below are attached some of the previous years question papers.
