IIT JAM Biotechnology Papers
IIT JAM is a Joint Admission Test for the M.Sc. The Test is conducted by Indian Institute of technology every year. It has papers for different subjects like Mathematics, Geology, Geophysics, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Mathematical Statistics and Computer Application.
The eligibility criterion is B.Sc. Biotechnology for the students who want to apply for the M.Sc. Biotechnology course. The time duration to complete the paper is 3hours. The Biotechnology question paper has only objective type questions in that and it has no descriptive or subjective type questions in that while other subjects have both the types of questions in that.
The questions are based on all the subjects like biology, physics, mathematics and chemistry. 44 percentage weightage is give to biology, 18 percent weightage to physics, 18 percent weightage to mathematics and 20 percent weightage to chemistry.
Biology questions are based on the syllabus of biology subject from 10+2+3 level. Chemistry syllabus is also based on 10+2+3 level. Mathematics and Physics syllabus is based on only 10+2 level.
It has negative marking also so the marks will be getting deducted for every negative answer for the answer of objective type question. Students need to answer on the separate answer sheet for objective type question. They need to fill the circles by darkening them fully to choose the right answer.
