IIT JAM is for those who are aspiring to their M. Sc at IIT. The paper consists of both objective and subjective questions. There are two sections. The first one contains objective questions and the other contains subjective questions. There will be four answers provided for each objective question. The candidate has to pick out the right one. Answering the objective questions wrongly will lead to loss of marks because negative marks are imposed on wrong answers. The total duration of the paper is 3 hours. Good coaching and practice using previous question papers will ensure that you succeed.
