Karnataka State Open University MB 1st Sem- Management Theory and Practice Papers are aimed at testing a student’s fundamental understanding of the subject and includes questions from topics like different approaches to management thinking that emerged during the first half of the 20th century, the various fields of study that have an impact on management theory, differences between an e-business enhanced organization and an e-business enabled one, the definition and conceptual understanding of knowledge management, the role of the manager the various advantages and disadvantages of the systems approach to management study, the meaning of the term corporate responsibility and the various ways in which this can be achieved and so on. Other topics from which questions can be asked include the various methods through which the manager can effectively control the workings of the organization, the importance of delegating work and the need for accurate forecasts.
