The maximum mark of the paper is seventy five, with three hours time duration. There are two main parts of the paper, namely Part A and Part B. The first part has a maximum of four main questions, and candidates have to answer all. The second part has a maximum of twelve main questions. The first eleven questions are offered in pairs, and candidates have to answer any one from each of the pair. The last twelfth question is Map Pointing and candidates have to compulsorily attempt it. The first part carries twenty marks and the second part carries fifty-five marks. Candidates can answer in Hindi or English. Below are attached some of the previous years question papers.
