Madhya Pradesh Board is the state board of the state of Madhya Pradesh and it conducts the Board E for Class 10th candidates studying in schools affiliated to the board in different subjects. One of the papers of Class 10th is Special English.

Divisions of the Paper:

There are no sections or division in the paper. There are no sub-parts or sub-units in the papers. The paper consists of main question arranged in the entire length.

Paper Pattern:

The paper has a maximum of twenty questions. The entire question offered in the exam is compulsory to attempt. The first eleven questions have to be answered in about seventy-five words. There are three questions, which offer internal options, namely the eighth, twelfth and the last question. The 18th question observes comprehension reading, the 19th question observes letter writing and the last question observes essay writing. The essays have to be written in about two hundred words. There are four options, out of which candidates have to attempt any one.

Markings:

The total mark of the paper is one hundred. Each of the questions has different marks allotted. Generally the marks are offered as per the nature of the question.

Time allotted for examination:

The General English Paper is of 3 hours duration. Students have to answer all the question within this time.
