It includes trade, terms and factors, concepts, theories (heckscher and ohlin), objectives and methods of exchange control, WTO (structure, functions and dispute settlement mechanism), features of international trade and its significance, internal trade, types of quotas, tariffs, economic integration, balance of payments (equillbrium and disequilibrium), comparative costs assumptions and its limitations, free trade, singapur issues etc.,

Paper Pattern: Question paper is divided into 4 sections A, B, and C. Sec-A, consists of 6 questions and each of them carry 4 marks. Sec-B consists of 6 questions, and each carries 8 marks. In Sec-C, candidates will find themselves answering 2 questions, all carrying 12 marks each, out of the given 4. All questions are of subjective type and they may or mayn’t be provided with choice.

Time Allotted: 3 hours

Key points: Many of the topics were being repeated. Precise answering will fetch you better marks.
