The paper is totally objective. There are no descriptive questions in the paper. There are no sections in the paper. There are 50 questions in all and all the questions have to be answered. To each question, four choices are provided. Only one of them will be correct. The candidate has to answer by choosing the most appropriate choice. Each question carries 2 marks and the paper is for a total of 100 marks. The candidates are allotted 75 minutes for answering all the questions. There are no negative marks for answering the questions wrongly. The questions in the paper are about the history and evolution of different languages.
