For Indian students, Japanese is a foreign subject. The main aim of NET has been just to ensure that students get full exposure to learning a new language. This definitely adds on to the entire knowledge of the student. Now, id one sees the previous years papers, they will find that the entire paper has total multiple choice type questions. The full paper is for 100 marks. Each MCQ carries 2 marks each. Thus, there is totally 50 MCQS that need to be answered in a span of one hour and fifteen minutes. There is no negative marking.
