The IFS Geology Paper II follows the same pattern as paper one except that the portion or the topics dealt with are different. Most of the questions asked carry 10 or 20 marks. The word count for the answers is only 150. It is important to solve the past 10 years’ papers in order to have a better idea of the questions most likely to be asked in the paper. The paper is full of essay type questions unlike the Prelims. You can download the previous years’ papers from the website so as to gain an in depth idea of the nature of questions.
