Japanese is a part of the foreign language-learning course for the students answering NET. Now, such languages help us to understand the world around us better and also get to learn a lot about the shades of the land, related to which we are learning the foreign language. Thus, if one takes this exam seriously, they will be able to master this language with a lot of ease.

Importance Of The Subject

It has been said from ancient times that Japanese is quite a difficult language. Thus, it’s obvious that the entire task of learning this language will also be quite difficult. Thus, the main aim is to test the student’s ability to learn this particular language with a lot of precision and ease. Now, there are more and more people who learn this language as now a day’s there has been a trend to learn this language as its considered to be an ‘exotic’ foreign language.

Paper Pattern:

The entire paper has been divided into four sections and is of totally 200 marks.

Section 1: It consists of a number of short questions asked on the basis of the paragraph given below. Each has to have approximately 30 words each.

Section 2: This section has fifteen questions again to be answered in 30 words each. Each question carries five marks.

Section 3: This section contains long translation questions. They are to be answered in approximately 200 words each. The translation is from Japanese- English or from English-Japanese.

Section 4: This just has one essay type of a question of about 1000 words carrying 40 marks.

Marks Alloted And Total Time Given:

The entire paper carries 200 marks and the time given to answer the entire paper is two hours and thirty minutes.
