The selection procedure for the entrance examination of the Nirma University Institute of Management is a two step procedure. The first step follows writing test. The students are required to sit for Common Admission Test conducted by the IIMs and this is used as screening test for the students. The question paper contains questions from Aptitude, English, Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency. Each section carries equal marks and students have to clear sectional cut-off for each section. After that candidates have to appear for GD and Personal Interview. Selections of candidates for GD & PI are done based on the score in the written test. Depending on the overall performance i.e. on written test, GD and PI, candidates are selected for admission.
