Elements of mechanical engineering are a paper of 60 marks in the 1st semester. The paper has 9 questions in it. The questions are divided into 3 sections. Section A has question number 1 in it which is divided into 10 sub-parts of 2 marks each. Section B and Section C of the paper has 4 questions in them. Each question in the section is of 8 marks. Candidates requires to answer 5 questions in all from section B and C. they should answer 2 questions from section B and 2 from section C, and the last 1 can be either from section B or section C.
