PTU M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering 2nd Sem Software Engineering Methodologies (CS 514) Papers are designed to test the student’s understanding of the subject, which includes being questioned upon topics like an understanding on project management and what it entails, what is meant by software engineering, the knowledge of various software life cycle models, differentiating between incremental development and rapid application development models, understanding terms like software architecture and software design, outlining the various pros and cons of software design models and so on. These are short objective questions which can be easily answered by the student. Longer questions are asked from topics like software testing, specification languages, what is meant by estimating and scheduling, the various types of cost estimation models used software engineering, differences between logical and physical design, software quality and reliability.
