This course is basically for 60 hrs of lectures and practical Tutorials of 60 hrs, making a total of 120 hours of course and also reviewing of software engineering concepts which would be for four hours.

The principles of software engineering features good software quality requirement in different applications and areas. For Software process 6 hours would be given. For introduction to project management 6 hours would be given. For Software project planning it would require 8 hours.

Similarly, for Project economics   :- 10 hours.

For project Scheduling and tracking techniques: - 6 hours.

For Risk Analysis and management: - 6 hours.

For Software Matrics and project management 8 hours would be allotted.

For Project control and Closure it would be given 4 hours.

For Project management Issues with regard to new Technologies 6 hours would be given.

Few things to be noted this course need to be supported by web- based and also with CASE studies and also be supported with a project management software package, similar to MS-Project.
