Biotechnology is a branch of engineering which is the most recent addition to the family. It is a perfect amalgamation of bio processes and the engineering tools to aid these bio processes. It has silenced the long held belief that mathematics and biology don’t gel in together.

As the name suggests, the particular subject in question deals with the various techniques employed by the biotechnology engineers in order to employ computers to aid the various calculations required in the process of experimental data interpretation or testing the hypothesis as may be the case.
