This is probably the only paper in the entire syllabus of BMRSc. that is not of a descriptive type. The paper mostly deals with the basics of statistics such as mean, median and mode. Even though the entire paper is mostly based on calculations and on short answer types questions, what is necessary is that one shouldn’t get over confident while answering the paper, because most of the papers even though might appear to be very easy and simple, as one goes solving the paper you will realize that it has plenty of tricky aspects related to it. Another common mistakes, which most students do, are that of calculation errors while solving numerical. This is the worst type of mistake one can make. There can be cases where the entire method of the numerical is absolutely correct but one makes silly calculation errors, which results in loss of marks. Another issue can be where one can mix up formulae. This happens mostly due to lack of practice and lack of understanding of the basics of statistics.
