Microelectronics & Opto-electronic devices paper is the examination of 70 marks with the time allotted to complete the paper being 3 hours. In total there are three groups. Out of which first one deals with the multiple choice questions. Alternatives may or may not be provided for the questions in this group. Group B contains 5 questions of 5 marks each and usually out of those any three questions needs to be done. Third group also contain the same amount of questions out of which any three are to be done. This is the pattern of the paper but the numbers of questions are subjected to change.
