Electromagnetic Waves and Radiating System is an important paper of ECE 4th semester of WBUT. Electromagnetic Theory, Antenna and Propagation are the important topics taught in this paper. The paper is of seventy marks. The duration of the exam is three hours. The paper has three sections. The first one comprises ten multiple choice questions. Section B containsshort questions carrying five marks eachsection C contains long answer type questions having fifteen marks each. Derivations of equations, numerical and short notes type questions are also there.Questions are asked on topics like Poynting theorem, HPBW, BWNF, VSWR, reflection coefficient, sky wave propagation, Horn Antenna, Skin Depth, etc. Below are attached some of the previous years question papers.
