The question paper is divided into three sections. The first section is an objective section having multiple choice questions; the second is for short length question section, and the third section has descriptive long length questions. The first section offers no choices, from the second section the candidate has to answer three questions from 5, each question will give you 5 marks. From the third section, the candidate is required to answer three questions which will give you 15 marks each. The multiple choice questions are set not only from analytical section and mathematical problems, but also theoretical questions are included. Some common questions from the second section are what is SDLC, phases for software development, what is feasibility study, shortcomings of the Waterfall model etc. the third section has an analytical question with charts and diagrams, short notes on important terms such as UML, Inheritance, Prototyping, Normalisation, Alpha and Beta Testing and more.
