XAT is the entrance test conducted by Xaviers Institutes to admit students for their post graduate programs in management. Some of the famous institutions coming under Xaviers group are Xavier Labour Relations Institute and Xavier Institute of Management. Both of these colleges are usually ranked with in the top 10 B-schools in India. Earlier these colleges used to accept CAT score for admission. Recently they introduced their own entrance exam, XAT. They follow a pattern similar to CAT exam and almost the same difficulty level. Quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, reading comprehension, language skills in English are some of the common topics of both CAT and XAT. Those who quality in the XAT exam are sent interview cards. Find attached below are the previous years questions papers for XAT Exam.

Past Papers of XAT

XAT(Xavier's Aptitude Test) is conducted every year for admissions to XLRI (Xavier's Labour Research Institute),Jamshedpur and also XIMB(Xavier's Institute of Management),Bhubaneshwar

The XAT 2012 is going to be conducted on 8th January,2012 and the registrations for the same has closed in the last week of November,2011

XAT is divided mainly into 3 sections :-

Verbal and Logical Ability (35 questions)
Data Interpretation and Quantitative Aptitude (38 questions)
Analytical Reasoning and Decision Making (31 questions)

In all you have to answer 104 questions in a time span of just 140 minutes

For the first 6 wrong answers in each section 1/4 th marks allotted to that question are deducted from your score and after that you get a -0.5 for each incorrect response..
