my date of birth is 6.02.1997. can i apply for aipmt exam this year or if possible then next year as well?

AIPMT stands for All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Entrance Examination. The candidates who wish to seek admission in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) can apply for the AIPMT exam. It is a national level undergraduate medical entrance exam conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admission to MBBS and BDS seats.

Eligibility Criteria :-
To be eligible to appear for the AIPMT exam, you must satisfy the following eligibility criteria :-

-->You must have completed 12th or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects from a recognised board.

-->You must have attained the age of 17 years as on 31st December of the year you are appearing for the AIPMT exam.

-->The maximum age limit to appear for the AIPMT exam is 25 years. Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable to the reserved category candidates.

There is no age limit for medical entrance examination like NEET, if you are applying for state level colleges and private college.

For Government medical colleges of All India level there is age limit for 25 years. There is age relaxation available for reserved category candidates.

Hence, if you have done 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 50% marks then you can surely apply for medical entrance exam like NEET without worrying about your age. Most of the medical entrance exam don't have age limit and you can apply for it.

Therefore, if you are willing to take admission in private medical colleges then there is no age worry. So, be prepared for the examination.

The exam will have objective type questions related to following subjects.

1. Zoology and Botany
2. Physics
3. Chemistry
