As per the eligibility criteria for Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET), candidates with a BSc in Biotechnology and BEd in Biological Science are eligible to appear for the TET exam for the post of Science Teacher for classes VI to VIII.

If you clear the TNTET exam and meet other eligibility criteria set by the Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB), you may be eligible for recruitment as a Science Teacher in Tamil Nadu state government schools.

However, it's important to note that passing the TET exam does not guarantee a job. The TN TRB conducts the recruitment process for government school teachers in Tamil Nadu based on the vacancies available and the performance of the candidates in the selection process. The selection process may include a written exam, interview, and document verification, among other criteria.

If you have got a B.Ed qualification along with your graduation then surely you will be eligible for TET. What you have studied in your school and college will be valid for teaching jobs. Just make sure you qualify for the test with a good score. Selection will be on merit and your good score along with basic qualifications will only matter.

You belong to the biological science or life science field and will be allowed to reach subjects related to these areas. A degree from a UGC-recognized University will surely be valid for such jobs.
