Is it beneficial to study BSc(Biotechnology) for a 12th Science student?


Respected Sir/Madam, I am Science student of 12th standard. I know Engineering and Medical are the only 2 streams, in which, candidates are focusing more and more but I want to make my career in Biotechnology and decided to study BSc in it. Can I know if it is beneficial for me?

BSc in biotechnology graduates has a good career in various sectors. the job prospects are not limited to the field of biotechnology but was in various allied fields. Experts in the field are of great demand in area of agriculture, animal husbandry and also in healthcare. Other than these the most common career areas for these graduates include:-

Bio fertilizer industry
Research organisations
Marine biotechnology units
Environmental units
Agro based industries
Food processing industries
National bio resources development firms
Crop production units
