Benefits of studying with IGCSE Board over CBSE for 8th student?

Hello,
My daughter has completed her studies in CBSE syllabus upto 7th standard. Now she is studying in IGCSE syllabus in 8th standard. What are the benefits in studying in IGCSE and not in CBSE? Is IGCSE syllabus better than CBSE syllabus?

First of all I would like to suggest you that if your daughter has completed her 7th standard from CBS board itself, then you should probably let her to complete her further studies from the same board itself and should not try o change her board now.

However, studying from IGCSE board is not bad, but CBSE board is preferrable for students as CBSE board gives more scope to students in future.

CBSE is Central Board of Secondary Education whereas IGCSE is International General Certificate of Secondary Education.
Students from any Boards can join IGCSE Board in the 9th grade whereas aspirants have to study in the CBSE Board from the very beginning so as to continue their studies up to 12th class.
The CBSE syllabus is framed according to the Indian standards of education whereas the IGCSE curriculum is of international standards

Although CBSE and IGCSE are different boards, the education provided in both these boards have helped Indian students to gain good quality elementary education.

CBSE stands for Central Board of Secondary Education.
IGSCE stands for International General Certificate of Secondary Education.
Both are the boards which provide education and certificates for secondary and higher secondary level.

As your daughter has studied in CBSE till 7th standard and moved to IGCSE in 8th standard, it will be better to continue her study in IGCSE as it is an international board and the syllabus and facilities provided will be of International Level which will help your daughter to continue her higher studies in foreign countries such UK,USA or Canada and others.

Also, there may be difference in the syllabus of both boards .
You should wait for a year till her 8th standard.
If your daughter can manage that then continue her study in the same but if she is facing such a problem then get admission in any CBSE schools in 9th standard.
But, IGCSE is the best option if she want to continue higher studies in foreign countries.
