1. Students who have completed class 12th with a minimum of 75% marks are eligible for JEE exam.

2. Students should have completed class 12th before 2019 are not eligible to appear in JEE 2023.

3. Students who will appear in class 12th board exam in 2023 are also not eligible for the exam.

Since, you have not fill the registration form of Class 12th in 2021 for whatever reason your first attempt of Class 12th will be counted as in 2022 which makes you eligible for JEE 2022 and JEE 2023 (for both JEE Main and JEE Advanced) provided you satisfy all other eligibility criteria for appearing in the same examination. Also, you can appear in JEE Main 2024 but not in JEE Advanced 2024.

Can attempt JEE 2022 and JEE 2023 both or not?

The candidate who has completed 12th with a minimum of 75% marks are eligible to appear for JEE 2022 and JEE 2023. The candidate who has done class 12th before 2019 are not eligible to appear in 2023 JEE. And the candidate who will pass class 12th in 2023 are also not eligible to appear in JEE 2023. The candidate should be minimum 17 years old to be eligible for the exam.

Yes definitely you can appear for JEE-Main and JEE-Advance 2023 if you are goin to pass your class 12th in 2022 but note that JEE-Advance 2023 would be the last eligible attempt for you after that you will only left eligible for JEE-Main 2024.

As per the guidelines, maximum two attempts are allowed for appearing in the JEE advance examination.
You can utilize these two attempts in the consecutive years of passing of class 12th. i..e One attempt in year 2022 and 2nd one is in 2023.

You will be eligible to appear in the JEE advance 2022 subjected to fulfillment of other eligibility criteria like wise age, marks in mains examination etc.

You are eligible to attempt both JEE 2022 and 2023.

Gap year will not be counted and the year of appearing for std 12ty will be taken in consideration.

You will be eligible for Advanced only after qualifying in JEE Main.
