Age limit for ISC and CBSE XII examination


Hey, I would like to know what the highest possible age is to take the ISC or CBSE grade XII examinations.

For 12th class, there is no age specification but the minimum age is considered as 17 years of age. Different schools may allow students differently. So, you must be at least 16- 17 years old for 12th class exam.

Age limit criteria is decided by the Directorate of State Education.

So, you can visit the concerned office to get the detail information with respect to age limit qualification.

So, you should be at least 16- 17 years of age for class 12th exams.

Age limit for ISC and CBSE XII examination.

Students who had completed ICSE exams for class 10th or equivalent exams followed by 2 years of study can appear for ISC exams of Class 12th.

Also in ICSE 10th exams, students should have had 5 subjects including english.

Students appearing in ISC exams should have a minimum of 75% attendance in class 11th and 12th.

There is no specified age limit for ISC exams.

Age limit for ISC and CBSE XII examination.

The candidate should be a minimum of 17 years old to get admission in class 12th in CBSE and ISC board in India. The candidate should have passed class 11th with a minimum of 60% marks to get admission in class 12th. There is no age bar to pursue class 12th. But there is limit in number of attempts.

The correct age of the student should be between 16 years to 17 years to get eligible to appear for the class 12 examination as per the guidelines of the central board of secondary education (CBSE) and Indian School Certificate(ISC).

According to the rules of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Indian School Certificate (ISC), a student must be between the ages of 16 to 17 to be eligible to sit for the class 12 examination.

Minimum age is only depend on the school from which you have passed your 9th as it will decide that your are capable to do 10th in icse or not and if you have done 9th in icse than there is any problem.

There is no specified age limit for ISC examinations. The minimum age to appear for class 10th examinations in CBSE is 14 years as of 31st December of the year of the examination. For class 12th there are no specifications of age but the minimum age is considered to be 17 years of age. Different schools may allow students differently so you should be at least 16-17 years of age for class 12th board examinations.

°°° There is no specific age criteria to appear in class 12th board examinations in both ICSE and CBSE boards.
If one has successfully completed 11th with any age then the candidate can appear in 12th without any kind of interruption irrespective of the age.
So, you can appear in 12th board examination without any kind of problem if you have completed 11th successfully.

No, official notification by CBSE or ISC regarding the minimum age limit criteria to appear for std 12th board examination

So, if you want to get the information you can visit the office of Directorate of State Education. It is the authority of their to decide the age limit qualification.
