My daughter date of birth is 18/05/2014 is she eligible for getting admission in UKG in This year? Please reply.. School authority said she is not eligible for UKG. But she already complete her LKG syllabus in CBSE in another school. Please advise me I want to admission in UKG!

For admission to UKG the prescribed lower age limit in CBSE is 4 years and 6 months as of 30th June of the academic year. It means that for the academic year 2021-22 the children born after 31st December 2016 are not eligible for the admission to UKG.

For admission to UKG, the age limit is 4 years 6 months as of June of the year in which you are admitting the student.

You must have passed LKG and Nursery classes to get admission to UKG.

As per the guidelines of the central board of secondary education (CBSE), the correct age of the student should be between 4 years 6 months to 5 years 10 months to get admission in UKG under CBSC.

There is no official notification with respect to age by CBSE.

The eligibility for admission in UKG (Upper Kindergarten) lower age limit in CBSE is 4 years and 6 months as of 30th June of the academic year. For admission, you need to get the application form which you can get offline and online. Fill out the form with all the required details and submit all the relevant documents to the school office. Admission will be on the basis of face-to-face interaction with the child and parents both by the school administrator and principal.

The minimum age limit for UKG admission in CBSE school is 4 years and 6 months. Minimum age limit for LKG admission in CBSE school is 3 years and 6 months. Therefore, for UKG it is 4 years and 6 months.

You need to contact the school for taking admission to UKG. Collect the application form the school, fill up the same and submit along with the necessary documents.

It means that for academic year 2021-2022 the children born after 31st December 2016 are not eligible for admission.
